Montrealer Keir Cutler is the playwright/performer of the multiple-award-winning solo play Teaching Shakespeare: A Parody (French translation, Fou de Shakespeare), and the sequel Teaching Detroit, a monologue adaptation of Mark Twain's Is Shakespeare Dead?, Teaching Witchcraft, Lunatic Van Beethoven, Teaching As You Like It, and Teaching the Fringe.

He has performed his monologues across Canada, in New York City and four of his solo shows are broadcasted on television by BRAVO!/CANADA.

Keir has a Ph.D. in theatre from Wayne State University in Detroit, a playwriting diploma from the National Theatre School of Canada, and a B.A. from McGill University. He is a member of ACTRA.

Keir has also appeared as an actor in several tv and film projects filmed in the Montreal area. He was in two episodes of the hit Quebec tv series "Bob Gratton: Ma Vie, My Life," and he plays the main villain/zombie in the Canadian horror movie, Crawler, www.crawler-movie.com premiering November 2008, filmed in the Quebec woods. Yikes!
